I'm a man of all trades; having been trained for more than 10 years in classical music, I then went through journalism, a master's degree in German philosophy, and then joined the school of contemporary art and photography at the University of Paris 8. ​

 

First a photographer's assistant, I then mainly continued on the path of photo training. For adults, but also for people with disabilities with the association Les Papillons Blancs Paris. ​

 

At the same time, I developed a personal work, centered around a questioning around the notion of documentary portrait. In particular, I explore the question of borders: the border between documentary photography, street photography and studio photography; boundary between showcase and screen; boundary between document and fiction. ​ To treat my subjects, I mainly use photography with strong contrasts and often characterized by chiaroscuro.
